Your experience of time
Anyone who has ever experienced a meditative state or gotten ‘into the zone’ doing something has experienced this.
Unless you do it regularly, though, hardly anyone recognizes how much this is a super-power.
Few things have more power than doing the right thing in the right place at the right time. Getting intention and action and place and time coordinated produces a confluence of natural forces that has a mind of its own, a life of its own.
It’s like being able to create a thunderstorm with a nod of your head and watching it liven things up in the parched countryside with winds and rain and a little lightening thrown in for good measure.
We miss all this magic when we keep time on its linear tracks like a high-speed monorail heading someplace important for everyone, but somehow it never gets there. No one even looks out the window to see the countryside. Hell, there may not even be any windows.
The thing is, time wants to be worked with. It’s always there. It’s ready and willing. It’s patient.
Time has a lot to teach us.
We just don’t use it like we use space.
We use space to build things. We engineer things into space. We’ve gotten pretty good at it. We’ve always explored space. We’ve always been fascinated by it.
But we mostly work against time. We see time as the enemy.
We like having a villain to struggle against, and time was there all the time, so it got the role.
Well, it’s time to stop thinking like that.
We must change the way we do the things we do.
We have to change things on a fundamental level. We have to change the way we think. We have to stop shutting down our hearts.
If you really think about it, the only way this can be accomplished on the scale and in a timeframe that can make a difference is magic. It’s the only logical choice. If we don’t use magic, it won’t happen in time. It won’t happen in mind, either.
We must change our minds. The way we’re thinking isn’t working. We have to stop doing the same things expecting different results.
We have to change our minds so we can liberate our hearts. We have to stop making our hearts do mind things. And we especially need to stop making them do mindless things. Liberate your heart and let it guide you. Reclaim your genius. Visit beginnersmind.xyz to learn how.
